IHG introduces IHG Business Rewards

If your job (or hobby) involves booking accommodation, meeting and event spaces for others then you are in luck! Much like the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) Pro membership that rewards you for planning events at Starwood properties, the IHG Business Rewards will allow you to fast track your personal IHG Membership Status and chalk up IHG Points (amongst other benefits) so you can redeem them for company or personal use. 

All earned points from booking and staying at participating IHG properties will now show up in just one account for IHG Business Rewards members. You no longer have to manage multiple accounts and IHG Business Rewards members will earn 3 IHG points per US$1 for every booking.  There is no booking threshold and no minimum qualifying spend. All IHG Business Rewards bookings will also count towards achieving IHG Rewards Club Gold or Platinum tier status, when the same member books and stays at an IHG hotel.
